Food from Britain
Food from Britain (FFB), the government-backed body that supported British food
and
drink exporters, will close on 31 March 2009. This webpage signposts other
organisations that offer export support to British food and drink companies.
Resources for Exporters
UK Trade and Investment is a government department that provides business opportunities, expert trade
advice and support to UK-based companies wishing to grow their business
overseas.
Invest Northern Ireland provides support specifically to Northern Irish food and drink manufacturers to
help them develop international business.
Scotland Food & Drink's Export Zone provides information and advice to Scottish food and drink manufacturers to
help them develop their international business.
International Business Wales provides support specifically to Welsh food and drink manufacturers to help
them develop their international business.
In-market support
The nine FFB International offices cover 16 markets and provide export services
to British food and drink manufacturers. The offices previously provided these
services through Food From Britain London, and now continue to provide them
directly to the British food and drink industry.
UK Trade and Investment has posts across the world which can carry out in-market research into
opportunities for your products.
The British pavilion
UK Trade & Investment can advise how to join the British pavilion at international food and drink
exhibitions and provides support for British exhibitors.
