SFDF / IFST / REHIS Symposium 2010
Over 95 representatives from the food and drink industry, government, regulators and other key stakeholders attended the SFDF 8th Annual Symposium on 22 April 2010 in Edinburgh.
Hosted in conjunction with the Institute of Food Science and Technology and The
Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland, it lived up to expectations
by
setting the scene in helping to identify solutions to the pressures facing the
future of the industry: Food security, feeding a growing global population, the
impact of climate change, securing a sustainable food industry, and the
potential
role of GM and other technologies, were the big topics of the debate.
